Big Brothers! :)

We love having two boys. They are sweet, fun, adventurous, curious, eager to play, energetic, smart little guys!

The Big Sweet Guy is a wonderful big brother. When Little Sweet Guy was added to our family and we would go anywhere, Big would say, "Little is coming too right???" When he wakes up in the morning, he always asks where Little is. He gives LittleBoo toys, and sometimes takes them, oops, then gives them back :) and says in his cute 'n sweet little 2 year old voice, "When Little is all done playing with that toy, then I can play with it." :)

And LittleBoo adores his big bro. He smiles when Big Sweet Guy walks in the room, when he plays peek-a-boo with him from behind his highchair, when they run around the house with Daddy laughing. Little chases Big around talking and smiling and little laughs, and they love to play ball. (Little really rolls it back and forth too :))

Pregnant!!!!!!!!

We're around 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 weeks along and are telling early because we know how powerful prayer is! If you've been reading us for a while now you know that we had a high risk first pregnancy (I was on bedrest twice and Big Sweet Guy had surgery the morning after he was born and was in the NICU for 2 long weeks [it could have been a lot longer but God is good!]) and our second pregnancy sadly was a miscarriage, but we know God has a plan. Little Sweet Guy's pregnancy and delivery was wonderful! I was flat on my back for 8 weeks at the beginning but I will take that without a doubt to have a healthy baby!

Our first ultrasound is tomorrow, Thursday, at 9:30am. It was originally supposed to be the following Tuesday but when one of our doctors received my bloodwork results, which were normal, she wanted us to come in a little earlier because I am breastfeeding, to make sure everything with this sweet little pea is going ok.

We wish we could have called each of you or told you all in person! Thank you so much for your prayers and thank you to my a-mazing twitter friends for praying for us and a doctor appointment that I couldn't give details about (maybe you had a idea ;)). And maybe my "Cheese, mmmm!" tweet gave it away a little bit too, haha.

Here's a closer look at the shirts I made the boys. They are missing one little component, they each have a little animal that was supposed to go on them, but they haven't arrived yet. :) Little is going to have a little lion and BabyBoy a little monkey. :)

Out for a walk with my little boys :) It was win-dy, check out BabyBoy's hair in the first pic, hehe. We love the side by side stroller (this one is a Combi, it's been great)!

Yum! Had these for dessert one night while watching our shows :) If you like peanut butter and chocolately goodness, mmm, I like the texture of the puffs, not too hard, yet they don't get soggy quickly either, I don't dig soggy cereal. :-)

We are so glad we splurged and got a video monitor after LittleBoo. We absolutely love it and love to watch the littles sleep. So sweet! (we have a camera in each room, love it!)

This couch and loveseat are on sale and we would love to furnish our family room and move the current furniture into the unfurnished living room, but we're trying to figure out if this looks cheap... the way the browns mix together in an effort to make it look like leather on top (there is leather on the seat but the top is different material)... opinions welcome :) (thank you to my twitter friends for a few thoughts already!)

BabyBoy and I took a trip to the grocery store just the two of us one day, while LilBoo was sleeping and Hubby was working from home. He's a cute and funny shopping buddy.

Mmmmmm... dessert while watching our shows many nights. Add sliced bananas on the bottom of the bowl and I pretend it's healthy. :) Fruit, dairy, you could live off of peanut butter... ha!

Chasing and running around outside before naptime :)

My first attempt making Chicken Pad Thai for Hubby because he loves and hadn't had it for a long time. So I made it for special for him one day for lunch. It turned out pretty good but I would definitely use a recipe next time that does not use fish sauce, it was too fishy for me, I can still smell it, it smells like I am living inside a fish :), I added soy sauce to try to counter it. :)

BabyBoy loves to find the little shopping cart in the toy "seskin" (section :) he is such a good little talker but we love there are still some words that still make him "little") and push it around the store while we walk around. And he rolls it back to it's place before we leave :)

BabyBoy loves to feed LittleBoo! I love the open mouth, it is so intinctual, everybody opens their mouth when trying to feed a baby, haha! He is so sweet and loves to take care of Lil and help, "all by myself." :)

Blessed - Mother's Day Edition

I cannot even begin to express with words how blessed I am. All three of my boys are incredible, sweet, loving, smart, silly, fun, and filled with joy! And they fill me with joy!

My three sweets made me a delicious pancake breakfast in bed, made me all teary-eyed as I read their handmade card, with the most adorable and hilarious coupon to go shopping for a new outfit, Hubby grilled me amazing burgers and salmon for lunch (I was hungry and craving both, haha), we went for a fabulous family walk, and had a wonderfully relaxing evening. Hubby took care of everything all day!

Beyond blessed! This family pic was taken when we were in AZ in April - what would we do without the self timer? :)

And a big Happy Mother's Day to my Mom, who loves us so much, has been spoiling us coming over most Saturdays to see us and the babies, and lets us have mini dates in between baby feedings, always brings some fruit or little food with her, who loves, has so much fun with, and does so great with the babies, who came to all of my Girl Scout ceremonies and orchestra concerts, the one I call right away when I can't get ahold of Hubby and need to talk about something :), who gave me away at our wedding! We love you Mom/Grandma!

And to Aunt Dottie who is really like a Mommom (Grandma:)) to our littles! We love you so much Aunt Dottie!!

So much to celebrate!!

We have so many fun occasions to celebrate this summer!! Our Little Sweet Guy is turning ONE and our Big Sweet Guy will be turning THREE, (we have no idea how this has happened, they were both just born a few weeks ago! :-)) and Hubby and I will be celebrating our SEVEN year Anniversary on June 8th! We have been together (living together after we got married but hanging out everyday haha) since, get ready, 1999. Aww, such sweet times!

So we are trying to figure out what we would love to do and when to do it - we don't think we'll be able to go until late summer or after. :) Here are the four current thoughts*:

1. Where we've been before: A spa getaway: in a little old town in the mountains, with antique shops, an old little movie theater that plays one movie each week. Cute, relaxing, a couple treatments, almost everything within walking distance. (less expensive and overall closer to home)

2. Where we've never been before: A cruise: to anywhere :) or St. Martin, Thomas, Lucia...? All you can eat yummy food, sleep and end up at a new beautiful location, explore. but I'm not going to lie, I would be a little worried about about the whole traveling a ways by boat and getting sick, or falling overboard!, yikes, I've been on boats before but nothing like this!

3. Where we've been but haven't been just the two of us: New York: We've been talking about going for a while now and it is so funny that many friends have gone recently. We would love to see some shows and check out some fun yummy restaurants.

4. Where we've been but not since our honeymoon just the two of us: a beach. I don't love getting all sandy or lying out in the sun for hours, but just hanging, reading, getting some warm sun, eating, walking, looking at the beautiful landscape. We have never done an all-inclusive resort before and talked about how fun that would be!

We're being cost conscious of course but we'd love to know if you've had any great experiences with any of the above! Or any thoughts you have! :) I'm leaning towards two of them but I'd LOVE to hear your experiences and what you think!

Heartfelt Sidenote: Sometimes I/we question what is worth spending money on; something that we would get more use out of, something the other one can use or wants, putting it into the house to get a better return when we sell and to enjoy now, something more tangible. But a vacay or time with just the two of us or for any couple is so important and "worth it!" Although sometimes it's hard to spend the money; you want to make sure you're using money wisely and for God's glory. You feel me? :) I think a vacay with just the two of us would definitely glorify God, strengthening a relationship even more, feeling refreshed and able to focus even more...haha Have I justified it yet? This is for myself, Hubby and I are on the same page, and he says it's totally worth it!

Anyway, thoughts?? Experiences? Loves? Strong not loves (I try to stay away from the word hate, haha but if you had a really bad experience and hated it, share away :))? Places you'd love to go again? Throw any fun thoughts our way! :)

We were heading out for a walk while Hubby was working :) Yikes, I need to get on cleaning that mirror, haha, you know our house is normally very clean! :)

Hubby and I cannot look at these pictures without smiling or laughing! Our hearts are so full and happy! And if we forget and start worrying about something or start thinking something is a bigger deal than is really is, we look at these faces and each other, and remember what is important. I hope these little guys brought a little smile to your face today! :)
