The Littles' Birthday Party - The Cake, Party Favors, Birthday Boys, Fam and Friends!

Birthday Boys!

The Cake! :) It didn't come out exactly how I wanted it to but I was happy with it overall :) This was my second time making fondant! And the beach ball cake on top (decorated with just buttercream frosting) was Lil's smash cake! I used some crystalized gold sugar as the sand accent around the bottom and on the sand tier :)

Around the cake: buckets and shovels, a beach towel, sand castles on the bottom (sand) layer, with extra crystalized sugar (sand) around each beach bucket, splashes of water and beach balls on the second (ocean) tier.

Beach ball plates for dessert :) I was excited about the apothecary jars filled with sand, sunglasses and shovels :)

Eating cake time!

BabyBoy and Grandma - he remembers how yummy cake is :). This was his second eat some cake location, hehe, it was his birthday so he got two little pieces :)

Some friends went outside to eat - BabyBoy's first cake eating spot :)

Little's 1st cake ever!

Family and friends!
Me, Little, and my beautiful Mom :)

We were so glad to have both of Hubby's sets of Grandparents at the littles' party! Here are the wonderful Great Grandma's! :)

We unfortunately didn't get individual pics with everybody, but we were SO thankful to have so many wonderful friends and family join in to celebrate and have a fun day together! and everyone should be in a pic below somewhere ;) We had almost 40 guests including little ones :)

Party Favors: I special ordered (for a good deal!) the personalized stickers to go on each party favor bucket, and filled the buckets with: a beach ball, pair of sunglasses, bubbles, hand wrapped sidewalk chalk with a beachy sticker, and hand wrapped bag of candy (and stuffed a little colored tissue paper in the bottom to make everything stand up a little more, I meant to add more because they started sinking, but ran out of time :))!

We all had such a fun day! And after everyone left, the littles played and laughed together, and wrestled (a little more on BabyBoy's end, haha), it was so sweet and cute. In the bottom two right pics, BabyBoy saw that Little needed his nose wiped, so after he wiped it a couple times Little started crawling away and off they went chasing and laughing, wrestling and laughing (Little is smiling in both pics, haha, he loves playing with BabyBoy)

Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us and for all of your sweet birthday wishes for the boys! Happy, 1st and 3rd, Birthday sweet boys!!! Daddy and I love you SOOOOOO much!!!

We were astounded - so much work, time, and TLC went into all of the decorations, the CAKE (oh, the cake!), the menu, etc. The boys will be so glad to have these pictures and memories. :)
