I Will Not Be Opening The Fridge For A While/MIA

Hi girls! I am so sorry I have been MIA for a while now! I can't wait to catch up on all of your blogs and I hope you are doing great!

I have not been feeling so hot myself, which is why I have not been on my computer except to book Hubby's return flight since last Friday :) This pretty much says it all...

I opened the refrigerator yesterday and walked right to the bathroom and threw up, hahaha! There was nothing rotten, nothing bad, nothing out of the ordinary, except for my crazily enhanced sense of smell and pretty much all food is now repulsive. :)

I had chicken broth again for dinner last night. And am trying to do everything I can to not feel totally nauseous all day and night long :) It is so true, it is definitely not morning sickness, it is morning/all day/and evening sickness :) It has been way worse this time, we're praying that's a good sign! My sense of smell, my tastes are so much more heightened and earlier this time :) I can smell a banana peel from 1/2 mile away and it smells so gross, haha! I can taste the sweet in everything and can't eat a bunch of things because they taste too sweet. It is soo funny! Even cheese! Cheese! Cheddar cheese tastes too sweet, ha!

But I would never even begin to complain about any of it, I told God I would take anything and take it happily and it could be way worse anyway! So I am not complaining just keeping you informed on my MIA status! I have never been more thankful to be so hungry but not able to eat anything except chicken broth for dinner :)

We went to a farm with some Mommies from our new church on Monday and our friend Leslie brought dinner on Tues, left her little guy with her Hubby and stayed after BabyBoy went to bed to watch a movie! I was trying to not feel like I wanted to throw up the whole time but I so needed it, we had a great time, and she was soo sweet to bring dinner and hang out. We watched How T0 L0se A Guy In 10 Days. It was soo cute!!

Hubby is home!! I cannot tell you how excited I am. I slept so terribly while he was away :) I kept the tv on way too late to have some noise around and kept hearing a noise every now and then, my eyes would shoot open, and then I would go through my head in what order I would make my calls, and what I would say, haaa!

I hope you are doing great and thank you again to all of your comments and to those who have been commenting for the first time too, I can't wait to check out your blogs and catch up on what you all have been up to! ETA: I promise not all posts will be about this subject, just a hello and what's up :)

Yay!! I'm so glad you're back and doing well. I can't imagine feeling sick all day...I'm so sorry! As a lot of the other girls have said though, it's probably comforting because you know that all is as it should be! :)

Morning sickness is always a good sign. If it makes you feel better to blog about it, then keep on typing, all of us other moms totally understand how consuming pregnancy is. Good luck.

Glad your back! I don't miss the morning sickness at all...or all day sickness! I lost 15 lbs my first trimester and then gained it back in my 2nd but only put on 20 lbs after that!

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing all day sickness...I was like that with Carter but it only lasted for the 1st trimester. Hopefully this passes for you soon!

Glad to hear your back to blogging, but so sorry to hear your feeling like crap! I had "all day" sickness when I was pg with P up until about 17 weeks. I feel your pain! Hang in there!

Your post took me right back to those early days of pregnancy...the extreme tiredness and constant nausea. Not fun, but we all know how worth it it is. Glad to see you back in the blogging world! :) Hang in there...

I always sleep poorly the first night my man's gone. It's that sense of not feeling protected by him and having to protect my "chickies" all by myself. You're not alone there.

The PG clock is ticking!!! yeah, you won't feel like this forever. Great attitude about it, girl. God is so good.

Awww...so sorry you're feeling yucky! Hopefully it will go away once you hit 13-14 weeks. Mine seemed to disappear. Were you sick with your first? I love hearing all about the pregnancy, so keep the posts coming! I wish they had blogging around when I was pregnant! It will be great to look back on one day.

Hang in there girl, as long as you aren't loosing weight the first trimester it's all good.

Praise the Lord for crackers, cereal and Ginger ale - or whatever else you can manage to keep down.

So sorry about your all day sickness but glad to hear you are okay.

I had evening sickness. I remember going on evening walks with my husband and getting so sick smelling everyone's dinner cooking. I ran home once and just lost it. Half the time hubby couldn't smell what I was smelling and he thought I was crazy

I had morning sickness really bad for about a month (though I was sick all day).

The only thing I could do in the mornings not to feel like giving up before my day even started was to nibble some crystalized ginger sloooooooowly while alternating with sips of milk. It was usually a couple of hours later before I could stare straight at real food (mostly granola, crackers, raisins, nuts). Cheese and meat were impossibilities for quite a while. Pistachios and other nuts are great, if you can stand'em, 'cause they'll add protein and iron without a high risk of, "Eck!"

Ginger tea is awesome, too! Amazon sells some in a 6-pack of boxes. I very much relied on it to ward off that queasy feeling. Hope you can find some solutions girl! Take comfort in the idea that by Christmas you'll probably be smooth sailing...'til then...good luck dealing with the myriad aromas of Thanksgiving! ;) I will pray for your tummy. :-p Yay for baby exerting his/her presence, though!
